Underground

We are conveniently located between Farringdon and Barbican stations which are both on the Circle, Metropolitan and Hammersmith & City lines. From Farringdon it is a short 3 minute walk along Cowcross Street then nip into Greenhill Rents – from Barbican, it’s just 5 minutes down Charterhouse Street. Moorgate, St Paul’s and Chancery Lane stations are also within walking distance.

Rail

Farringdon Station is also served by Thameslink trains which run from Brighton to Bedford, calling en route at Gatwick Airport. King’s Cross, St Pancras International, Euston, Liverpool Street and Moorgate stations are all within easy reach.

Buses

Farringdon is well connected by the London bus network. From Clerkenwell Road, the 55 connects to the West End and the 243 goes to Waterloo Station. From Farringdon Road, the 45 and 63 travel between South London and King’s Cross.

Cycling

If you’re feeling energetic, the nearest Barclays Cycle Hire docking station is at West Smithfield Rotunda, opposite the entrance to St. Bartholomew’s Hospital.

Local hangouts

Smiths of Smithfield

Giant Robot

A buzzy Italian-American inspired bar/diner with exposed brick walls and a retro sci-fi feel, Giant Robot is the place to be seen and one of our current favourites. Get stuck in to a feast of meatballs, mash and ice cream sandwiches all washed down with an icy cocktail.

Magma Books

A source of inspiration and a place of wonder for all things creative. Want to find that long forgotten typeface, discover what’s happening in contemporary Japanese architecture or source the latest issue of that ‘hard-to-find’ design magazine? Then look no further. Plus they do a nice line in designery products and t-shirts.
