
Sony Folklore
Brief
Create a microsite for the fantasy adventure game ‘Folklore’. Folklore is set half within a small Irish town and half within a subterranean parallel universe known as the Underworld. Sony wanted to create an unpredictable online experience that reflected the magic of these dual worlds.
Solution
The Tourist information shop seemed like the perfect gateway to Folklore’s Netherworld. We wanted to create a benign environment that challenged gamers perceptions of the product.
Manned by an old lady in half moon spectacles, the shop houses a range of clickable clues. Once all the clues have been collected the shop and octogenarian morphs into their grotesque Netherworld counterparts and the fun begins.
