Brief
Sorted ‘a recipe for student survival’ is an edgy lifestyle brand for university students that sets itself apart from the competition through its raw, cheeky positioning. Playgroup were challenged to develop a site that would act as a hub for the student community while promoting the Sorted recipe book. We had to make sure the brand translated and created energy in the online environment.
Solution
We firstly had to really understand and get under the skin of the target audience and understand how they wanted to interact with the brand. The site effectively brings the brand to life online and provides the opportunity to make friends and seek advice as well as contribute your own tips and tricks to the blog. Video content adds a further dimension to the experience through recipe video podcasts which can be downloaded. With ecommerce functionality built in the site is also the place to purchase your copy of the book.
Results
The website is live www.sortedstudents.com, is populated with content and already generating good levels of traffic even before term starts in September.
