Spotify

If you love music you have to have a play with Spotify
It allows you to search for and listen to any music of your choice. Nothing new? Its the social aspect that gives Spotify an edge. Start creating a playlist and send the link to your friends so they can share. Choose to turn it to ‘collaborative playlist’ and then they can then add their songs too.
Its so easy to use and intuitive. I recommend you give it a go.

On the BBC News website today...
The music streaming service Spotify has been targeted by hackers.
The Swedish company says people's personal details, including e-mail addresses, dates of birth and billing addresses, were all stolen.
However, it is thought credit-card details, which were handled by a third party, have remained secure.
Spotify has apologised for the security lapse and advised users who registered on the site before 19 December 2008 to change their passwords.
It is thought hackers gained access to user data at the end of 2008, although the security breach only came to light at the end of last week.
Apparently Spotify are working on an app for the iphone, if they do this I would be the happiest person ever - any song, any time and on the go! http://uk.techcrunch.com/2009/02/23/the-day-itunes-died-spotify-is-working-on-a-killer-iphone-app/
I just wish apple would allow them to release this.
I think we should set up a Playgroup playlist. Everyone loves the atmosphere in the office created by our collective random music tastes - lets share it with the world!
Spotify is ok, i spose

I love Spotify until I have to disconnect from the net and run.. then I rely on my trusted iTunes/iPhone set up.
Check out: http://listen.grooveshark.com/ as this is a great service and a competitor to Spotify.
