Huge congratulations go out to two good friends of mine, Steve and Celeste Gomez of Bandito, who recently collected a well deserved Emmy in New York for their outstanding digital effects work on Inside the Living Body for the National Geographic Channel. This enlightening documentary depicts the development and ageing of the human body through detailed and striking visual effects.
I know how dedicated Bandito are to really pushing the envelope of accuracy in CGI, and this prestigious award is a vindication for all the really hard work that they put in. A real inspiration to everyone working in small creative studios up and down the country.
